Referrals:Outstanding Service!I want to thank you for your outstanding work during my recent tree emergency! Your response to our situation was quick, highly professional and displayed great customer care.I discovered on a recent Saturday afternoon that during the night a storm almost completely uprooted a large two trunk tree in our backyard. During the uprooting, the tree rotated to the extent that one trunk pointed directly at two 2nd floor bedrooms, our garage and another tree adjacent to our house. The other trunk pointed directly at our neighbor's family room. These trunks were over 120 feet in length and would have definitely resulted in major damage to both residences, if it fell completely. I called several tree removal companies that afternoon for help. Wendel Tree Removal was the only one who answered the phone. Only one other provided voice mail capability. The others did not answer the phone. I explained my situation to Wendel Tree. They informed me everyone was out on jobs that afternoon but someone would contact me shortly, ASAP. Later that afternoon I received a return call and they agreed to assess the situation early the next morning. That morning (Sunday), Scott Wendel met with me, surveyed the situation and immediately made arrangement to re-schedule his Monday work schedule because of our emergency. Early the next morning, Scott and a full crew arrived with all their equipment. They worked for 8 hours taking down this tree. They did it with care and precision due to the tree's unstable condition and proximity to 2 houses. I observed them perform in a highly professional manner. Upon completion, they cleaned up the surrounding area so that you never realized that so much equipment and activity had taken place in our backyard. They left my wife and I highly satisfied with their work and I would recommend Wendel Tree Removal to anyone and have done so with our neighbors. They could have quoted a premium for their work, due to its emergancy nature, but the price charged for a full day's work with 8 people and equipment was very reasonable. Call Wendel First!!My wife called me while I was working to tell me that a large maple in our backyard had started to uproot and was severely leaning toward our house. Unable to leave work I started calling tree companies in the area. Two of the places I called went to voicemail and another said they could probably take the tree down the next day. Not an option. It would be on my house by then.Next I called Wendel and talked to Scott. I explained to him the situation and how promptly it needed to be attended to. He said he'd be over in 30 minutes. With this kind of being an emergency, I was worried about getting an outrageous quote. I didn't have much choice, it had to come down. Scott got to my house within 30 minutes and gave me a call. I was quite happy with the price he gave me and I told him to take the tree down. Within a couple of hours the tree was down. Scott and his crew did an excellent job. They even blew wood chips and sawdust off of my roof. Needless to say, I highly recommend Wendel Tree. I won't bother calling anyone else in the future. I watched the crew close as they worked and was very impressed with the care they took to protect my house as they took down many branches over my two story home. A very fair price for an outstanding job. I now have picked my "Arborist" for all my home needs. They are coming out later this Fall to do more trimming of my very large Maples." My yard got beautiful fast! The spring clean up plus a tree and stump removal was over and above my expectations. After renting out our home for several years, our yard was in sore need of attention. We usually like to do our own work, but decided to get help to get started. Thank goodness we did! The owner of Wendel Tree and Landscaping came out to give estimates and advice. The prices were very reasonable. The tree removal was a bargain for what they did! No trouble to take the tree down (right next to my neighbor's basketball hoop and car), and when they came back, my gosh that stump grinder was awesome. You can't even tell we'd had a huge tree there. The owner came in with several employees (good guys, too) and dug out sod for my landscaping, did the clean up not only exactly as we had agreed on (leaving some things that we wished to do ourselves) but also did that little extra for our neglected yard that was such a pleasant surprise. They even took the stump grinding chips away and brought in topsoil and seed (I could not find any tree service willing to do that). The did an excellant job, dealt with the owner, they were professional, prompt, no damage to my lawn, and it was done in one day. They even did a little extra work not included in their price, that was nice. I really liked their clean up, it was perfect.
